Viv’s Bat Mitzvah

La Dolce Viv

For Vivian’s Bat Mitzvah, we transformed her family home into a celebration that felt equal parts heartfelt, stylish, and effortlessly fun.. Conceived around the theme La Dolce Viv, the celebration borrowed from the spirit of la dolce vita and reimagined it through a youthful, polished lens; part garden party, part candlelit supper, part joyful family milestone.

The beauty of hosting the ceremony, dinner, and party at home was in the feeling it created from the outset: personal, grounded, and quietly luxurious. The ceremony carried an intimacy that only a private setting can offer, before the day gave way to a reception layered with colour, texture, and moments of surprise.

Throughout the space, floral abundance did much of the storytelling. Vivid arrangements in punchy pinks, oranges, yellows, and soft pastels animated the setting, while a floral-designed dance floor brought a bold sense of play to the garden. Lounge seating, candlelit tables, and overhead string lights gave the evening its softness, as if the backyard had slipped, almost unnoticed, into a more glamorous after-dark version of itself.

There was also an irresistible sense of fun woven throughout: a bouquet bar for guests to build their own stems, a flower crown station, a candy cart, and food presentations that felt as stylish as the décor around them. Topping it all off, a range of custom merchandise created a playful favor moment for guests to take home.

In the end, La Dolce Viv felt exactly as it should: spirited, elegant, and full of life. A Bat Mitzvah that marked the significance of the day while still leaving room for delight, personality, and a little bit of magic.

“Thank you all so so much, that all came together so beautifully. Thank you for giving Vivian and all of us the most special memories. I cannot thank you enough! ”
